pinup in a pack subscription box july unboxing

How time flies! I can’t believe I’m already on my FOURTH PInup in a Pack subscription box…it seems like just yesterday that I was first hearing about it. If you’ve kept up with my previous reviews (click here for April, May, and June), you know that I’ve liked this box more and more with each month. You may also remember that last month I gave a little nudge to the folks at Pinup in Pack to let them know an extra awesome box in my birth month would be appreciated. Well…they were nudged!

pinup in a pack subscription box: may unboxing

Last  month, I tried out a new subscription box just for pinup gals – Pinup in a Pack! The down & dirty details: $19.99 (shipped in the US) gets you a selection of 3-4 retro-inspired accessories delivered to your door each month. I’m notoriously picky about subscription services because, well…I’m just super picky in general. But I liked my April box and decided to stick around for another month. What showed up in the May box? Pinup in a Pack subscription box

pinup in a pack subscription box review

As though the universe is reading my blog (what up, universe), right after I mentioned in my Dia & Co review that I’d be interested in checking out a pinup/vintage-themed subscription box…one popped up! Pinup in a Pack is a monthly accessory subscription box for pinup girls. For $19.99 each month (shipping included in the lower 48), you will receive a box of 3-4 pinup/vintage-inspired accessories worth up to $50 delivered right to your door. I definitely give a critical eye to subscriptions and curated boxes of all kinds; I’m ex-Ipsy, ex-Gwynnie Bee, ex-Dia & Co…it takes a lot for a box to convince me that I’m better off subscribing than putting that money toward things I know I want. So how does Pinup in a Pack stack up? Find out after the jump.

my dia & co experience

This is a post I’ve been sitting on for a while because I just don’t really know how best to approach it? But if I was going back in time, I would want to read this, so here we go!

If you’re not familiar, Dia & Co is a personal styling service for plus size women. You fill out a style profile with your personal style and preferences, note what kind of clothes you’d like to receive, what your price range is, and a stylist will select five pieces for you to try. It costs $20 to order a box, but you can use that as a credit toward purchasing the items you want to keep. You’ll also receive a 20% discount if you decide to purchase all five. Anything you don’t like, you can send back in a prepaid envelope.
