pinup in a pack subscription box review: october

Each month, I receive my Pinup in a Pack subscription box, filled with a surprise assortment of curated retro accessories. And each month, I review it right here on the blog for you! The time is now, the place is here: let’s open up the box and see what we’ve got.

Pinup in a Pack teased on their Instagram that the October box was a little bit spooky, and you know I was all in for that! I’m sure it’s surprisingly to approximately nobody that my favorite piece from the box is the most Halloween-y…honestly though, regardless of the season, those glitzy spider earrings are fly as hell. They feel really special and high quality to me, and that’s the kind of piece that I’m excited to get out of a box like this.

A gal can always use another neutral beaded necklace; this piece didn’t necessarily thrill me, but I know that I’ll get a lot of use out of it, so I’m happy to add it to my collection.

I do really love the gauzy silver turban, but I will say that personally, I would probably have preferred to get another lightly spooky hair piece or accessory. I did get a turban in my June box, which I was super duper excited for (and still am!), but a turban isn’t something I’m going to reach for regularly, and I would get more use out of a hair flower or clip or something like that. That said, this is fabulously glam with just a hint of spookiness, so I will do my best to style it well.

I’m definitely eager to see what the holiday season will bring in my Pinup in a Pack box! As always, I’ll bring you along with me to check out every box that I get.

I got a turban in my pack too! I have no idea how to style it and not look costumey, would love to see how you rock yours.

I’m experimenting a bit with mine…I’ll definitely share what I end up doing with it!
