If you’ve been around for a while, you know that I’m a huge fan of all things true crime. I’ve been obsessed with reading about murder, disappearances, and more since I was in middle school, and this golden age of crime podcasts has been so perfect for me. I’ll be going to see My Favorite Murder when Karen and Georgia come to town, and you know I need some sweet gear to show my true crime colors to all my fellow murderinos. There are so many fun murderino-themed shirts out there and I can’t buy them all, so I thought I’d share some with you instead. (Note: because Karen & Georgia have stated they’re okay with fans making merch but not big companies, these are all indie makers/designers!)
As someone who always calls her dad when there’s a problem (like a flat tire or my car beeping or something), I definitely relate to this shirt from Murder Apparel. I love the skulls and other cult-y accoutrement~ worked into the design.
Forensics & Flowers is one of my very favorite murderino makers! I’m the proud owner of the pin version of this True Crime Club design, and it makes a killer (haha) t-shirt.
This sassy pinup girl top from Kae Raz is definitely a front-runner for me in my murderino shirt hunt. It’s real cute and perfect for the gal who has no time in her life for toxic masculinity.
I’m so in love with the clean simplicity of this design! Wild Public definitely has the typography game on point. This would definitely be a great option for any graphic designerinos out there.
“This is terrible. Keep going.” AKA what I’ve been saying every day of my life! This is definitely under-represented as far as iconic MFM quotes go, so good on Fox and Fancy for putting out such a cute design!
TheFive15 is another one of my favorite designers on Instagram, and her MFM icons shirt is no exception. This design has a little bit of everything to show off your MFM fandom.
These ladies know what’s up. There are a lot of “the husband did it” themed shirts out there, but I love the use of the vintage-style illustration on this one from Velvet Wire Supply Co.
Pink, purple, and a skull? I’m sold! This Simple Thoughts Co shirt is such a cute typographic take on the classic call to action.
Finally, I’m REAL obsessed with this one, designed by Adrienne Simmons. I’m all about those gorgeous botanicals, which is funny since I always stay out of the forest…
What do you think? Would you rock one of these indie MFM tees or are you all about the official merch? I love my Fan Cult t-shirt, but sometimes you want something a little out of the ordinary.
